  • Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) – Temp-To-Perm Position

    Description:

    Trisearch Solutions is proudly partnering with a thriving manufacturing client in the SA38 postcode area of Carmarthenshire to recruit a dedicated and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is a temp to perm opportunity within a growing company, playing a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency through both preventive and reactive maintenance.

    Responsibilities:

    Undertake preventive maintenance on diverse process equipment as per schedules.

    Respond promptly to and carry out reactive maintenance to minimise downtime, applying a methodical approach to fault-finding.

    Competently work safely on equipment involving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, instrumentation, and control systems.

    Accurately log all work completed, time spent, and parts used into the maintenance management system.

    Adhere strictly to all health and safety procedures, including raising permits to work, identifying hazards, and implementing lock-off procedures for invasive work.

    Utilise engineering documentation and libraries for knowledge sharing and effective problem-solving.

    Work effectively as part of a dedicated maintenance team on a rotating shift pattern.

    Requirements:

    Multi-Skilled Competence: Proven ability to work safely and effectively on electrical and mechanical systems within a process manufacturing environment.

    Qualifications: Ideally ONC Engineering or equivalent (minimum) in an electrical & mechanical discipline.

    Experience: Time-served apprenticeship in an industrial/manufacturing setting, with at least 5 years' post-apprenticeship experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a similar role.

    Fault-Finding: Strong methodical fault-finding skills.

    H&S Focus: A strong commitment to health and safety practices.

    Shift Work: Ability to work a rotating days and nights shift pattern, including weekends (every other weekend off).

    Ability to accurately complete maintenance logs and reports.

    Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    A minimum of 1 year of commercial HGV driving experience (preferred).

    Proven reliability, excellent punctuality, and a strong, positive work ethic.

    A proactive attitude and the ability to be available for short-notice shifts.

  • Forklift Driver – Wirral, CH62 – (£12.60/hr, Long-Term Contract)

    Description:

    We are recruiting a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join our client, a well-established recycling contractor operating at a busy production facility in Bromborough, Wirral (CH62). This is a long-term temporary contract offering stable, ongoing work for a dependable candidate. Please note that a full, pre-employment medical is required for this role, which will be arranged and paid for by us.

    Responsibilities:

    Safely and efficiently operate forklift trucks within a fast-paced recycling environment.

    Handle and transport diverse materials according to site processes.

    Adhere strictly to all site health and safety protocols at all times.

    Maintain a clean, organised, and safe personal workspace.

    Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational targets.

    Operate on a rotating shift pattern, including days, nights, and weekends (typically 10-12 hour shifts on a 4-on rota).

    Requirements:

    A valid, in-date FLT (Forklift) certification.

    A minimum of 12 months of forklift experience, with recent experience within the last 6 months.

    Full flexibility and commitment to work a rotating shift pattern that includes days, nights, and weekends.

  • Telehandler Operator (Permanent) – Nantycaws, Carmarthen – (£32k-£34k)

This role is based at a brand-new, state-of-the-art Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in Nantycaws.     Responsibilities:

    Safely and efficiently operating a telehandler as an integral part of the daily site operations.

    Moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles, and stockpiling processed items.

    Adhering strictly to all site health and safety regulations at all times.

    Conducting daily pre-start checks on the machine and reporting any defects immediately.

    Requirements:

    A valid CPCS Card for Telehandler operation – this is essential for the role.

    Proven experience operating a telehandler, ideally within a busy industrial environment (e.g., waste management, recycling, manufacturing).
